Transition Redhill – August Update

Sutton Community Farm gate and bannerFood group visit to Sutton Community Farm

A few members of our food group paid a visit to Sutton Community Farm a couple of weeks ago, for one of the farm’s ‘field to fork’ events. We were taken on a tour of the farm, and then treated to a fantastic cookery demonstration using vegetables we had gathered on our way round.

It was an interesting and inspiring visit, and we have written a blog post (with pictures) all about it here. If you are a food group veg bag customer, we would recommend paying the farm a visit at the next available opportunity. If you’re not a yet a customer, there’s information about becoming one at the end of the blog post.
